Wikipedia
I want to mention Wikipedia for those that have not found it yet. It is a free online encyclopedia. It is constantly updated and contains an enormous amount of information. Gone are the days of looking it up in your Funk and Wagnalls! Beware though... the hyperlinked articles make it addictive! Who would have though learning would be this much fun, eh? ;-)If you get as hooked on it as me you can make a donation, which should be tax deductible. It is a non-profit organization.

I landed on this site when I was looking up some Roman history. You're right....great sight and highly addictive links.
