Cross Country season..

I competed in SAIT's ACAC cross-country race as an open competitor last weekend. Nothing like cross country to remind you how to really hurt! 8k of grass, hills, wind. I actually had an ok race, I've been working hard to get my running back in shape, and I think I'm faster than last year at this time. Hopefully this will add up to a good run in Canberra.

For those in Alberta, there is the Red Deer College cross country race this Saturday, September 23. Registration is at Room 1607 at the south-west corner of the college til 11:30 or so. Women's 5k race starting at noon, Men's 8k race starts at 12:45. Cost is $5. Open to anyone... and a modest meal included after the race (sandwiches).
