July

I apologize... it's been almost a month without as much as single real update.

I've been busy. Very busy.

Work, travel, train, travel, race, travel.... I've been neglecting my blog. Sleep just seems more important!

So... here's a brief rundown of my crazy month....

July 1 - watched many of my friends have great races at Great White North 1/2. It was tough for Heather to come out and watch a race that she had a good shot at placing on or close to the podium. The times of the lead females confirmed as much.

July 5 - drive to Calgary, have some pre-Stampede drinks

July 6 - Stampede Beer Mile! Not many people show up.. but fun. I have my worst race yet!
John and Jeremy arrive in Calgary, we go out for first night of Stampede.

July 7 - drive to Regina

July 8 - Regina Beach triathlon. 3rd place overall. fastest run split. Had a crap swim, but managed to salvage a good day.

July 9 - final day of my consulting contract... done! Anyone have any web work?

July 14 - Troy and Krista's wedding in Regina. Fun times!

July 16 - drive to Edmonton

July 20 - My Birthday! I got a SK Roughriders jersey and Heather took me to the SK-Edmonton game. Too bad we lost by a point... but a good game nonetheless.

July 21 - Drive to Calgary. Hung out for a few days.

July 24 - drive to Vernon to Heather's sisters place. Good riding, running, and a swim in Kalamalka lake is always good. Man... I love the BC sunshine.

July 28 - drive to Kamloops (currently).

July 30 - drive to Vernon for a couple more days.. then off to Creston on Aug 2.

So.. a lot of travelling... but I'm thinking I'll finally have a permanent place to live at the end of this month. I'm burnt out... and need to stay in one place for a while.
