The only constant is change

The title of this post is originally attributed to Heraclitus, a lesser known Greek philosopher, but one of the earliest to discuss the universality of change. We are all somewhat resistant to change. Change is the unknown, the uncomfortable. Even if change is for the better, we sometimes resist.
I've had to accept and embrace, and even initiate change more than ever lately. My life is almost a complete opposite of a year ago.

On that note... yet another change has occured in my life. Heather and I have ended our relationship.

Sorry to hear this. All I know is that change is constant and therefore reliable, so it makes sense then to occasionally let go of the shore, get into the middle of the river and navigate the rocks...we go further and gain skill at many things. Much love and luck.

dude... sorry about the break up...

here's some more on heraclitus... maybe this came from you?

A man never steps in the same river twice... becuase he is not the same man... and it is not the same river.
