Finding a routine...
It's been a tough transition.... but I'm finally starting to find a new daily routine.Monday to Thursday I swim at 6am with a great swim group out of NAIT. I was never a morning person, but it's getting easier. I WILL become a better swimmer this winter!
The weather is getting colder, but I'm still trying to get my commuter bike in order so that I can do less driving. I found an old bike in perfect condition next to my dumpster. I just need to replace the tires and tubes. However, that is proving a challenge... it uses odd size rims... I think it uses beach cruiser tires. I seem to only get out for a ride one day on the weekend right now... I'm not in good cycling shape. Ah well.... I can drill myself all winter on the trainer.
My running has been a bit sporadic... but I've at least been doing the challenging Wednesday night x-country series here. Difficult courses and tough competition. I'll barely crack the top 10 on the grand prix. 3 more races to go in the series. I should be nicely peaked for Winterstart in a month.
For the Calgary people... I'll be there on the 19-21 of this month. Going to to get some more gear out of storage, and race the Confed Park x-c relay race.
