Jason Lapierre Memorial Dual-Stage ITT Omnium

ITT this weekend outside Cochrane.... open to triathletes too.. with a one-day race license. Should be fun:

Bikes must comply with UCI rules though.. seats 5cm behind BB.

Note: that 5cm behind BB thing does not generally apply to Cat5 riders (or short people in general), since the ABA would like to encourage participation in our sport. So if you are a triathlete and you don't want to change your position, we aren't going to make you. We just want you to race !!

Andy has DQ'd cat 5's before, he just is not as fussy, ie no plumb bob...

Andy will not be there. The new ABA as a whole encourages new membership. To impose those position rules on someone 'trying out' our awesome sport is silly. Better to have someone learn to enjoy and embrace our sport first and foremost. Of course for Cat5's that have been around the block this may be appropriate (enforcing position rules), but not for a new member or a 'day of race' license holder. This will not happen at this race. We encourage new riders to try our sport.
