Wikipedia

I want to mention Wikipedia for those that have not found it yet. It is a free online encyclopedia. It is constantly updated and contains an enormous amount of information. Gone are the days of looking it up in your Funk and Wagnalls! Beware though... the hyperlinked articles make it addictive! Who would have though learning would be this much fun, eh? ;-)

If you get as hooked on it as me you can make a donation, which should be tax deductible. It is a non-profit organization.

New digs

Finally found a new place to live. It's shared accomodation with a masters student (and triathlete) and a teacher. They seem like good people. Moving day this weekend... oh how I despise moving!

Here's a pic of my new place:

Tried to cancel my Enmax contract today. The bastards want me to pay $1200 in cancellation fees unless I transfer my account to another household! Or... unless I can prove to Enmax I'm living out of the province/country. Always read the fine print. *sigh* Anyone signing up for Enmax Gas service in AB want to use my account?

Quote of the day

...it's not what happens to you that determines the quality of your life and what you accomplish in it - it's how you react to what happens that defines the nature of your existence.

10 points to anyone who can find this article and post it as a link in the comments to this post.

New Address

Sheesh... sure it's tough to find decent affordable accomodation in Calgary nowadays. I've been stressed out this week in my search for new digs. I decided to get a P.O. Box as my mailing address, since I never seem to be able to stay put for more than a year anyways. So... if you need to send me snail mail for any reason, my new address is:

Greg Nicholson
1919B 4 Street SW
Suite #245
Calgary, AB

12 Mile Coulee X-C

Ran 12 Mile Coulee XC last weekend. Finished 9th.. but well off the leader pace. Body isn't responding well to high-intensity this time of year. That's not a bad thing... gotta peak in the summer, not now. Here's a pic taken from the Calgary Roadrunners site.
